Refund Policy

Rewind is a digital service. This policy explains how and when your event is delivered, and the circumstances in which we offer refunds.

Delivery timeline

Rewind has no physical goods and no shipping. As soon as your payment is confirmed by Paystack — typically within a few seconds — your event is activated immediately and you can share its QR code and link with guests right away. The shared photo gallery then unlocks at the reveal time you set when creating the event.

Refunds

  • Free plan: no payment is taken, so there is nothing to refund.
  • Unused paid events: if you have paid for an event but no guests have joined and no photos have been taken, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
  • Technical problems: if a fault on our side prevents your event from working and we are unable to resolve it, we will provide a full or partial refund as appropriate.
  • Duplicate or accidental charges: these are refunded in full.
  • Completed or in-use events: once guests have joined or photos have been captured, the service has been delivered and payments are generally non-refundable, except as required by law.

How to request a refund

Email hello@rewindapp.co.za with your event name and the email used to pay. We aim to acknowledge requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Paystack, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

This policy works alongside our Terms of Service and Pricing. Nothing here limits any rights you have under South African consumer law.
